Position Overview

The Service Team Manager is responsible for overseeing service managers, installation managers, and technical advisors within the plumbing and electrical division of our client. You will need to demonstrate a broad range of skills including management, initiative, decisiveness, tact, integrity, judgment, compassion and leadership in order to achieve departmental objectives and company goals. Strong communication skills and personal growth through a commitment to life long learning is paramount to success within the organization.

 

Responsibilities

       Maintain a profit-minded customer service focus

       Participate in on-call manager rotation

       Ensure customer service (calls) after hours if necessary

       Participate in hiring and termination processes

       Assist Operations Manager and President in developing employee growth plans

       Develop and manage departmental objectives

       Participate in weekly Operations Level 10 and Leadership Development meetings

       Conduct weekly Level 10 meetings with service managers, installation managers, and technical advisor

       Maintain department scorecard

       Create and maintain a department VTO sheet

       Maintain and conduct performance reviews and meetings throughout the year with your team (Catalytic Coaching)

       Assist in the consistency of the Nexstar Service System

 

Skills/Qualifications

       Past experience selling and managing technicians that sell

        Technical knowledge/experience is a plus

        Strong communication

        Highly motivated and self-sufficient

        Strong team development skills
