Position Overview: As the EVP of Sales & Marketing, your role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive internal and external strategic sales plans to increase revenues and profits. This position is expected to uphold the mission and values established by the organization. As a key member of the executive team, the opportunity to diversify and improve efficiency is a key objective. Championing accountability, creativity, and transparency, this role will help the company to continue a path of growth and excellence.


  • Establishes strategic plans to achieve external and internal sales growth objectives for products and services.
  • Direct reports include Customer Service Manager (7 direct reports under this role), Equipment Director, Machine Service Team (Team of 4), and VP of Sales (11 sales reports under this role). The goal is to make these teams work together. The position will also work closely with the Marketing Manager.
  • The role is equal parts strategy and integrator.
  • Must keep the team focused on growth efforts, and must create a system to follow up on those growth efforts.
  • Continuously assesses current models of business operations and develops appropriate new models that will improve the customer and prospect experience.
  • Oversight of CRM, including strategy, optimization, and usage.
  • Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors
  • Capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
  • Oversight of the organization's online presence, including strategic content that will drive new business leads.
  • Develops and implements the recommendations of the strategic marketing plan. 
  • Furnishes marketing advice, counsel and general staff support to all departments within the organization.
  • Evaluates operational issues to determine how competitive and current it is with the latest trends in the industry.
  • Monitors external and internal environment for development of new market segments.
  • Assists in or produces feasibility studies/business plans for new product opportunities.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns for new (or existing) products and services. This includes formulating a specific budget and expenditure plan for each.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
  • Assists in developing an evaluation process to gain feedback from constituents. Eventually lead the weekly sales meeting Qualifications:
  • 5-7+ years as an executive leader
  • MBA Preferred
  • Passion for leadership and change management
  • Enjoys variety, learning, and multitasking
  • Experience within Distribution, and/or Commodities industry
  • Proven track record in Sales & Marketing leadership
