Position Overview:

Operations manager is responsible for overseeing the provision of services provided by Winona Agency. This includes developing, maintaining, and improving processes and procedures to meet the expectations and needs of our clients as well as increase profitability of the Agency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Have a complete understanding of the workflow at Winona Agency and develop policies to establish guidelines and procedures that document each step.
  • Work in conjunction with management team to reach profitability goals and develop tasks and key performance metrics to achieve success.
  • Oversee Operations department and manage employee's reviews, rate increases, and overall success at Winona Agency. This includes training and development of employees through their tenure at Winona Agency.
  • Work in conjunction with Human Resources to recruit, hire, and retain the best talent.
  • Participate in annual budget process. Responsible for continuous budget analysis of Operations Department.
  • Internally communicate marketing strategies including advertising campaigns and promotions.
  • Attend company meetings and training sessions.


Education & Experience:

  • Gathering and analyzing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems
  • Intermediate skills in all Microsoft Office Products
  • Excellent customer service skills both internal and external
  • Active listening skills
  • The ability to clearly communicate information and ideas verbally
  • The ability to manage time one's own time and the time of others
  • The ability to sit for long periods of time while keyboarding and/or reading a computer monitor
