Job Overview:  The Director of Sales is a critical member of the team. Our client is seeking a leader who wants to work with a team of entrepreneurs to build and grow a high-performance company, someone who wants more than average and working in and around custom designed product. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all sales efforts across the company and will be an integral member of the Executive team. The organization is looking to expand in to new markets, explore sales channels and develop a reoccurring revenue stream.

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contribute as a member of the leadership team, to include close collaboration with the executive team
  • Help develop and execute on the Company's strategic sales and marketing plan
  • Cultivate, develop and leverage partnership relationships at all levels
  • Develop and manage the Company's sales and marketing budget
  • Manage the customer experience throughout the sales cycle while ensuring continued development of key accounts
  • Train, develop, and lead internal sales team provide sales goals and targets for team members
  • Monitor sales team efforts - provide action follow-ups for generating new business
  • Identify and foster key relationships with current clients to leverage in business development and to ensure they are meeting their organization's goals and objectives
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue and margin targets
  • Maintain technical competencies and understanding of market trends and environments
  • Work with cross functional teams to address customer needs, communication, and project completion

Experience:

  • 4 year degree or MBA preferred
  • Business to business (B2B) sales experience necessary
  • Leadership: Minimum 3-5 years of sales management
  • Positive attitude and sincere passion for finding creative solutions that help expand the organizations' success
  • Ability to think independently and within a small team environment
  • Proven track record of success: identifiable metrics, awards, promotions, goal achievement

Compensation :
