Position Overview: 

 Manages sales of the company's products and services. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue through planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long term sales and earnings.


  • Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company's products
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results
  • Collaborates with President and COO to develop sales strategies and territories to improve market share in all product lines
  • Educate sales team in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts
  • Manages, develops, motivates and coaches the sales team to adapt to the Slattery Sales Concept
  • Plan annual sales plan and set achievable targets
  • Successfully sell and market the product of the company
  • Provide a WIN-WIN solution to both the company as well as customers
  • Develops national sales strategies to increase sales
  • Awareness of latest trends in marketing and sales
  • Oversee the estimating of sales proposals and bids
  • Plan, coordinate the annual sales meeting

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Problem solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team
  • Experienced in marketing and sales strategies
  • Be an active listener
  • Ability to interact effectively, both orally and written to customers and peers
  • Good presentation skills
  • 3+ years database experience

  • Experience with hockey and/or ice rink industry
  • Good Negotiation skills
  • Be innovative and persuasive
