Position Overview:

Acucraft is seeking a Sales Development Representative. If you are motivated, have a passion to learn and enjoy making outbound sales calls and qualifying incoming leads, this position is for you! We are looking for someone who is eager to join a sales team, take advantage of training and development, and has little fear in speaking to customers or asking qualifying questions to further vet a lead. This person will reach out to the world's leading contractors, designers, and architectural firms who work on cutting edge high-profile residential and commercial projects.


General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Will need to learn and demonstrate the fundamental understanding of the custom fireplace business, both products and services. Must be able to articulate the advantages and capabilities of Acucraft.
  • Must qualify leads quickly and efficiently; 60+ per day
  • Will perform heavy, outbound sales via telephone and mass marketing campaigns with an end goal of setting appointments for business development team and finding potential business.
  • Must meet or exceed assigned calling quota.
  • Will track information into the lead management software system.
  • Prepares and provides sales reports, as assigned. Keeps manager informed.
  • Maintains confidentiality and acts with integrity.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Generate quality sales opportunities to be closed by a Business Development Manager


  • 4-year degree preferred.
  • Candidates with telesales or outbound call center experience are encouraged to apply
  • Must be comfortable and energized by qualifying prospects through a series of questions and discovery conversations
  • Must be comfortable making outbound calls.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively listen. Ability to articulate and speak clearly over the telephone.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and respond quickly with quality responses.
  • A professional attitude with effective time management skills.
  • High motivation and is a self-starter with ability to meet hard deadlines.
  • Ability to meet or exceed required performance metrics.
  • Patience, dedicated to meeting results, persistence and focus.
  • Adaptability and flexibility. Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with a team.
  • Ability to work fast and efficiently with technology.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with a CRM preferred.
