Position Overview:

In your role as a Procurement Specialist you will ensure project delivery is on time, within budget, and documented in our Eagan Office.



  • Maintain and expand current vendor relationships to effectively purchase products and services as required.
  • Identify new vendor relationships and develop positive interaction to effectively purchase products and services as required.
  • 100% responsible for all online product and part purchases to fulfill order requirements.
  • Create all purchase orders for products purchased
  • Manage vendor's delivery dates and purchase order status
  • Manage the open purchase order list to maximize product turn times
  • Research and identify market pricing for inventory items
  • Negotiate with vendors to increase deliverables at the correct market pricing
  • Work with VP or purchasing to create correct stock levels
  • Manage the needs of the sales team and the specific needs per order they require
  • Work with Finance to verify invoices match purchased product and costs
  • Work with Operations on discrepancies on purchase orders
  • Work with Operations and manage all vendors on return/nonfunctioning vendor items
  • Manage all in house use items and maintain their stock levels
  • The creation of new inventory part numbers as necessary and the maintenance of accurate product descriptions consistent with the part numbers.
  • Create quotes for all client requests for hardware and labor
  • Stay current on all pricing tools available to us through our vendors
  • Invoice for cabling vendors
  • Invoice all of our client base for Managed Services on a monthly basis
  • Deposit all checks coming into our company
  • Work with our client base on any invoicing inquiries
  • Other duties & projects as assigned



  • Associates Degree or higher
  • Experience in purchasing in the Technology Industry a plus
  • Detail and multi task oriented
  • Proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to work in a team environment or alone
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills working with all departments and levels of management
  • Solid organization skills and ability to prioritize
