Position Overview

The Strategic Account Manager will work closely with Sales Manager and VP of Operations to help develop and manage strategic existing accounts. The person in this role will focus on relationship building, creating solutions, and becoming a trusted partner with accounts. This position will create an opportunity for someone looking for a customer-facing strategic role developing a new program with the opportunity to become a successful employee-owner.

 

Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
  • Communicating with clients to understand their future needs and explain product value.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about consumer behavior.
  • Effectively negotiate, propose, and collaborate with operations to ensure project fulfillment.
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
  • Identifying industry trends.
  • Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience.
  • Successfully set and exceed personal sales quotas
  • Effectively communicate with the executive team to stay up to speed on company goals and overall growth plan
  • Effectively use CRM tools to manage account activity
  • Attend or join networking events and groups to become known as a trusted advisor in the industry

 

Qualifications:

Skills/Knowledge

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience managing and growing existing accounts
  • Proven ability to communicate with customers via email, telephone, and other platforms as necessary
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales quotas, ability to break through customer rejections
  • Knowledge of security, technology, relating to hardware and services is a plus
  • Experience with ConnectWise and Quotewerks is a plus
