Position Overview: The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing client relationships.  The main objective of the Outside Sales Representative will be to sell the software and services (SaaS) of the organization by way of direct sales and marketing efforts. As the lead ambassador of the company, this individual will be the trusted face to clients while adhering to company values and policy. In this role, the Outside Sales Representative will use strong interpersonal skills to provide service and support to clients. In addition, they will be responsible for communicating cross-functionally with internal departments.


  • Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
  • Leverage research, databases, trade show lists and other networks to create qualified pipelines and forecasts to achieve revenue targets
  • Submit reports on sales activity regularly into the company's CRM software, and maintain clean and updated records for all leads and customers
  • Actively pursues new customers and/or new contacts and opportunities within existing companies
  • Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
  • Oversight of clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
  • Monitor the company's industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
  • Coordinates sales effort with sales support, marketing, management, accounting, and customer support groups
  • Adhere to all company procedures, values and policies so that you provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers.


  • 4+ years of Outside Sales Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think independently and within a small team environment
  • Strong prioritization, organization, problem solving and decision-making skills
