Position Overview:

Looking for an energetic and assertive B2B outside sales candidate with a proven track record of success in uncovering opportunities and generating new business and managing existing business. This role will involve managing and prioritizing opportunities, qualifying potential new clients, understanding client's business drivers, building relationships, presenting solutions and closing the business. This position requires a higher technical aptitude with the ability to talk to engineers selling software and hardware, in a competitive market. The Outside Sales Representative will be required to generate opportunities from leads that are provided. They will control their own success in our business growth by driving revenue through proactively targeting and building strategic relationships with existing and new clients.

The Outside Sales Representative's main goal is to find new clients and opportunities and will hunt the markets identified within their assigned territory.  Their primary goal is to develop new prospects and create opportunities but may work with existing customers to uncover opportunities for additional business.



  • Create key relationships and work collaboratively with a number of colleagues:
    • Sales Managers, Inside Sales Team, SMEs, & Product Development Department
  • Mathematical skills to work with spreadsheets and concepts, such as: return on investment, probability and capacity planning in software and services delivery scenarios
  • Drive ASI Datatmyte's initiatives in each of the following areas:
    • Sales Planning - Developing and executing a sales plan for growth
    • Sales Process - Following a Sales Process for selling to new and former customers (prospecting, quoting, and presenting)
    • Sales Development Dedicating themselves to an environment of learning and increasing sales skills
    • Data Capture, Forecasting and Pipeline - Capturing and inputting data from customers and prospects



  •       Prefer at least 3-5 years sales experience in selling solutions and formal sales training
  •       Demonstrated success meeting sales goals and growing sales
  •       Experience in the manufacturing and software industries a plus
  •       PC proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) required, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  •       4 year degree preferred
