Job Summary: 

Our client is looking for a Sales Manager who will be responsible for the overall sales functions of the Company, with the primary target market focused on the convenience store industry within the U.S.  This position is accountable for both the lead generation and acquisition of new customers as well as development of the sales strategy and execution of the sales plan.

The key accountability of the Sales Manager will be to sell the software and services of the company through both direct sales and partnership opportunities. This position will manage the sales staff and will use industry knowledge, passion, integrity, and professionalism to drive new business and develop new strategic partners and relationships.



  • Generate outbound leads and follow-up on inbound leads
  • Effectively qualify, research, and follow-up with prospects
  • Recruit, train and manage the sales team, ensuring their responsibilities and metrics are also met
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain prospect information and activity in the CRM system
  • Achieve established sales goals both in qualified lead generation and closed deals
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities
  • Assist other affiliated areas including marketing and client support as needed
  • Attend and actively participate in trade shows


Minimum Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years sales experience preferred in either similar services sold or similar target market
  • Some experience in sales management is required
  • Prefer applicable experience in a growth company environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort with web-based technologies and various software tools
  • Comfort with sales activities including cold calling and achieving monthly quotas
  • Strong skills in connecting with and building relationships with industry experts and prospects
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
