Opportunity Overview:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads and closing new business as well as maintaining existing accounts for businesses, developers and specific institutions such as hospitals, universities, etc. who are looking to increase their brand recognition.

Required Skills:

  • 4-year degree preferred
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience preferred
  • Proven outside/field sales experience with a track record of hitting and/or exceeding sales goals
  • Experience working with city codes and electrical requirements a plus
  • Ability to self-source leads through a combination of cold-calling and networking
  • Ability to think independently and within a small team environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills
  • Strongly self-motivated with a drive to excel
  • Strong work ethic and self-discipline

Position Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly revenue goals
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with business owners
  • Actively manage short and long term leads from external referral sources to qualify prospects and advance them through the sales process
  • Develop weekly activity goals and provide action follow-ups for generating new customers
  • Manage the customer experience throughout the sales cycle while ensuring continued development of key accounts
  • Work directly with the customer on their goals and expectations
  • Investigates and resolves customer's problems / challenges / concerns / objections
  • Work with fellow team members on plan design and pricing
